Health Benefits of Eating a Raw Vegan Diet

There are several health benefits of eating a raw vegan diet. 

Fruits 

The first health benefit is that you are going to increase your consumption of fruit. The fruit is going to loaded with vitamins and don't have a lot of calories in them. Therefore, you are going to feel energized and satisfied after you have eaten the fruit in your diet. If they are eaten whole, then it is going to aid in the healthy digestion of your food because of the fiber that is inside of the fruit. Plus they can be blended up to be added to other fruits to make them more tasty. 

Vegetables 

The second health benefit is that you will increase the amount of vegetables that you are going to have in your diet. There are a lot of different minerals that are inside of the vegetables that are going to benefit from. They have also had a small amount of protein in them, which you are going to need if you are on a raw food diet. The more leafy greens like spinach and kale are going to have a lot of protein in them, which is going to help with muscle growth and repair. 

Nutrition 

The third health benefit is that your nutrition will be balanced out better. This is because of the protein, fats, and carbohydrates that are going to be inside of the foods that you are going to be eating on a regular basis. If you are eating a lot of animal products, processed foods, and grains, then you are not going to have a lot of nutrients inside of your diet. But by eating the raw diet, you are not going to be bogged down or feel sluggish, because your body is going to feel clean and light. 

Simple Carbohydrates 

The fourth health benefit is that you are going to be consuming the simple carbohydrates. All of the foods that you are going to be eating are going to be plant-based and fresh, which means that they are going to be easy to digest. The fats and sugars that you might have been used to eating cannot be digested as easily as the simple carbohydrates. But inside of the fruits and vegetables are all of the things that you are going to be able to process without a lot of effort by the body. 

Gluten 

The fifth health benefit is all of the foods that you are going to be eating are going to be gluten-free. This is going to be great for the people who might have an allergy to gluten. This is also going to be true for the people who are trying to be more health conscious. Most of the time, the gluten is going to be found inside of the grains that you eat. The grains are not going to be easily digested by the body and they don't have a lot of nutrients inside of them. Plus the grains are going to need to be cooked so they can't be consumed if you are eating a raw diet. 

Low Fat 

The sixth benefit is that all of the foods that you eat are going to be low in fat. Your body is not going to need a lot of fat in order to work properly. Therefore, the raw diet is going to be great if you are trying to lose weight. The foods like nuts, avocados, and seeds that you are going to be eating on a raw diet are going to have unsaturated fats inside of them. These fats are a lot healthier and will not cause you to gain a lot of gains. 

Heart 

The seventh benefit of the raw food diet is that the foods that you eat are going to be heart healthy. Therefore, if you have heart problems, then you might want to consider trying the raw food diet. The raw foods are low in cholesterol and sodium, so it helps to decrease the risk of you having heart disease. This is because your heart is going to be able to pump more efficiently. It can also increase the efficiency of the flow of the blood inside of the body.
